Cole grew up in a small town surrounded by cornfields just outside of Dayton, Ohio, then traveled to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina to attend Coastal Carolina University in 2017. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Major in Finance, while also being a part of the Professional Golf Management Program.
Cole lives in Spokane Valley with his wife Tess, and their dog Diesel. He’s an 8 year old Boxer who Cole and Tess rescued shortly after moving into their new home 2022. Cole has a passion for teaching golf so you can find him most the time on a golf course or at a driving range either helping others with their golf game or working on his. Unless its fall, then most weekends are spent cheering on his beloved Ohio State Buckeyes and Indianapolis Colts - he rarely misses games! During the week he likes to spend his spare time cooking with Tess. Every week they try to put together a new recipe they have never tried before - his recent favorite is homemade Pho. Cole also enjoys spending time with his friends and family, including his niece’s and nephew, Oakleigh (8), Lincoln (6), Brielle (4), and Dallas (3).
Cole has had a variety of work experiences over the years; his first job was in the food and beverage industry. His parents owned a restaurant in Ohio where he would help out, this is where he got his love for cooking! He then moved on to the Golf Business where he worked for 9 years, having many different roles in outside golf operations to Assistant Golf Professional at high-end, private country clubs in Ohio, South Carolina, and Idaho. After deciding to do a career shift to his true passion, finance, he joined THIRTY 30 Wealth Advisors in June 2023. During his time with the firm, he has obtained his Series 6, 63 and 7. His next focus is to undergo some rigorous education and training to obtain a prestigious financial industry designation. This will allow him to be able to better serve the clients of THIRTY30, helping them live intentionally, with clarity and confidence.
Cole aspires to find a way to volunteer in the future, teaching kids in rural/low-income areas the importance of personal wealth management. He believes most kids in areas like this (similar to where he grew up) do not get enough exposure to personal wealth management and basic financial concepts. He wants to try and start changing the mindset of those kids and help them believe they too, can grow up with a great financial plan and be a successful, intentional, and contributing member of society.
